The use of hyaluronic acid preparations in cosmetology has reached its peak in recent decades. In cosmetology, a filler made on a base of hyaluronic acid can be used for increasing the volume of certain areas of the face, as well as for other rejuvenation procedures. Unfortunately,  excessive amounts of hyaluronic acid in the facial area, low-quality drugs, and individual allergic reactions may cause different unpleasant results such as necrosis after filler, swelling, and redness (the Tindel effect), as well as lip overcorrection, which is expressed in disfigurement by swelling and displacement of the gel. To eliminate these effects, the hyaluronidase drug is used. It works as an antidote against drugs that are based on hyaluronic acid. Complex chemical interactions by splitting long knitted chains of compounds by enzymes, allow you to remove the neutralized gel from your body without side effects, within a period of up to two days. At the same time, in medicine, the hyaluronidase has to be used according to strict indications, taking into account possible side effects and allergic reactions.

How The Enzyme Is Made

The enzyme is produced using natural products in particular from frozen testes of slaughter animals. Considering the features of obtaining hyaluronidase, that were used at the dawn of its discovery, using acetic acid and centrifugation technology, we can say that the process of creating the drug was rather complicated. Nowadays, this method is not practically used as it is considered to be unacceptable, both from an aesthetic and economic point of view. The production of a medicinal product by means of microbial synthesis by special bacteria is widely used. A number of requirements are imposed on such strains:

  • no harm to human health, especially pathological effects on blood;
  • the ability to synthesize a high molecular weight version of a substance;
  • The stable physical and biological composition of the preparation obtained during bacterial synthesis;
  • the optimal ratio “the amount of the substrate – the volume of the synthesized preparation by bacteria”.

These techniques are used in modern Pharma Franchise Company to produce hyaluronidase on an industrial scale, in special capsules.

Why Do We Need The Hyaluronidase

Hyaluronidase is not a separate substance, but rather a complex of several elements. It is a number of substances that differ in chemical composition but possess properties that allow the absorption of drugs from hyaluronic acid. These enzymes increase the permeability of the surrounding tissues by oxidizing mucopolysaccharides. Simply put, this is a group of enzymes, united by a single name “hyaluronidase” in cosmetology, used to correct a number of problems.

Hyaluronidase is also widely used in medicine, more precisely in areas other than cosmetology. It is used in the elimination of fibrosis (excessive proliferation of connective tissue) after liposuction, with obstruction of the fallopian tubes in gynecology, for the prevention of adhesions of the abdominal cavity in general surgical practice.

Hyaluronidase As One Of The Methods For Correcting Cosmetic Mistakes

The drug is used for a number of cosmetic errors associated with excessive formation of connective tissue, such as:

  • acceleration of the resorption of hyaluronidase, with unsuccessful results of anti-aging manipulations (without the use of hyaluronidase, the preparations dissolve under the skin within 10 to 12 months);
  • prevention of excessive proliferation of connective tissue after operations and injuries (the same scars);
  • use as an anti-inflammatory.

Anyway, the main area of application of the drug is precisely cosmetology and plastic surgery. In cases of excessive use of hyaluronic acid, surgery to extract it is ineffective since the drug penetrates the skin and underlying tissues at the cellular level. Before the invention of the antidote, patients had to wait almost a year if cosmetic errors occurred until the drug resolved itself since the surgical intervention not only did not help but also caused the appearance of disfiguring and deforming scars on the skin of the face. Therefore, hyaluronidase in cosmetology is practically the only way to correct deformations and defects caused by hyaluronic acid and preparations based on it.
